Drummer/producer Gregory Sgrulloni (TORCH) is best known for his dynamic live performances and signature drumming style with artists such as Conspirator (The Disco Biscuits), Sistine Criminals and his own "Torch Solo Project." His live performances are often described as a display of technical ability with a drumming style pulling from styles such as Trap, Juke/Footwork, Jungle/DnB, and IDM. His sound has been described as a "unique style of effortless power house electronic drumming mixed with fast complex Gospel-esque fills."
Having shared the stage with artists such as Big Gigantic, Adam Deitch (Lauryn Hill, Pretty Lights, Lettuce), Umphrey’s Mcgee, The New Deal, Method Man and more, TORCH has fast become an in-demand and sought after drummer and producer. He has worked alongside Grammy Award winning artists and producers such as Esperanza Spalding, Dawaun Parker (Aftermath Entertainment), Henry "Cirkut" Walter (Rihanna, Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj), Justine Ok/AKA-TINAMINA (Sony/ATV Publishing), and bass player Jerry Barnes of Nile Rodgers' legendary funk band "CHIC."
In the summer of 2014, TORCH performed with his group Sistine Criminals as a featured musical guest on the Hannibal Buress show at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn along with Prodigy of Mobb Deep. That same year, he was ranked #4 on Adam Deitch's "Top 10 Most Exciting Drummers in the Scene" as well as receiving Honorable Mention in the "Top 10 EDM Drummers of 2014" on theUNTZ.com.
Since completing the year-and-half long touring stint with Conspirator in 2014, TORCH has been under the radar silently working on several 'TBA' projects. You can catch TORCH performing live with artist's such as Sistine Criminals (Live DnB), Roxiny (Indie Pop), FutureType (Electro Funk), and Torch Solo Project (Coming Soon!).
